The Malacanang Palace built in 1750 stands on the Pasig River and the structure appears to be gently floating downstream! Originally a summer house after many years of war and colonial rule it became the official residence of the the President of the Philippines. The Spanish Colonial architecture is delightful and inside it houses many ornate halls, rooms and staircases.
