Broadcasting House, the home of the British Broadcasting Corporation, was built in 1932 to a design by architect George Val Meyer. Broadcasting House, with its art deco features, is a worldwide symbol for the BBC.

Made with a steel frame and clad in Portland Stone the building is magnificent. It has often been likened to a ship with rounded frontage and aerial mast, and the Architectural Review of 1932 described it as the “new Tower of London”. We have produced a stunning architectural sculpture of the entrance facade.

Each of our architectural sculptures is handmade in our studio in Sussex, England. They are made of strong plaster that has a reassuring weight and smooth, cool feel. The clock and door are made of etched brass. Stylish ornaments, gifts or presents that are handmade in Britain and look fabulous on a desk, shelf or wall.

Address: Broadcasting House, Portland Place, London, W1A 1AA, England.

Sustainably Crafted

We all want the world to be a better place. We are trying to do our bit. We reuse, recycle and use less where we can. We search out sustainable local suppliers. We sponsor grassroots sports for the local youth, donating both money and time. We sponsor local environmental projects. We know we can do more but we're making a start!

Handmade

We hand make all of our models. Chisel & Mouse is the combination of an artisan’s approach (the chisel) with modern innovation and transformative technologies (the mouse). By capturing life and its big ideas in miniature, the brand celebrates the beauty of our industrialised world.
