Pennzoil Place is a set of two 36-story trapezoidal towers in downtown Houston. The building was designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee and on its completion in 1975 it was greeted with much critical acclaim, being cited as a break through build that paved the way for the postmodernist era of architecture.
