BATTERSEA POWER STATION

Battersea Power Station, built in 1933, had been crumbling away since shutting down over 20 years ago, but is now once more resplendent after restoration. This building, with its instantly recognisable chimneys, is a true London landmark and worthy of the term 'iconic'.
Our architectural sculpture of Battersea Power Station's Northern Chimneys is striking. It displays the beauty and function that Sir Giles Gilbert Scott was so famous for and is the perfect example of mantelpiece art.
Each of our architectural sculptures is handmade in our studio in Sussex, England. They are made of strong plaster that has a reassuring weight and smooth, cool feel. Stylish ornaments, gifts or presents that are handmade in Britain and look fabulous on a desk, shelf or wall.

NATIONAL THEATRE
8in high, 11in wide, 3in deep & 4.5lb approximately
The world renowned National Theatre is a dominating brutalist structure on London's South Bank. The building commands wonderful views across the Thames towards St Paul's and Somerset House from its series of interlocking concrete terraces. Once described by Prince Charles as "a nuclear power station" Denys Lasdun's National Theatre has divided public opinion since its completion in 1976. Today it is one of London's key hubs for the arts and a mecca for skateboarders alike.
Our model highlights the building's distinctive brutalist form.

OXO TOWER
11in high, 3.5in wide, 3.5in deep & 4.5lb approximately.
The Oxo Tower stands tall on London's fashionable South Bank. The site started life as a power station before being purchased by the manufacturers of Oxo stock cubes in the 1920's. Architect Albert Moore rebuilt and remodelled the site in1928 in the popular art deco style. Advertising on the South Bank was frowned upon but the owners came up with an ingenious design that highlighted the brand but didn't breach the rules. Today the tower houses design and craft shops, flats, a viewing gallery and a top notch fine dining restaurant.
