Sustainably Crafted
We all want the world to be a better place. We are trying to do our bit. We reuse, recycle and use less where we can. We search out sustainable local suppliers. We sponsor grassroots sports for the local youth, donating both money and time. We sponsor local environmental projects. We know we can do more but we're making a start!

Handmade
We hand make all of our models. Chisel & Mouse is the combination of an artisan’s approach (the chisel) with modern innovation and transformative technologies (the mouse).
By capturing life and its big ideas in miniature, the brand celebrates the beauty of our industrialised world.

NOTRE-DAME DU HAUT
5in high, 8in wide, 4.5in deep & 3lb approximately.
Chapelle Notre Dame du Haut was designed by the legendary architect Le Corbusier. It was built in 1955 and serves as a Roman Catholic chapel. It is located in Ronchamp.
The building is spectacular with a sculptural expressive style. The curved roof is of particular note, it has been described as "peeling up towards the heavens". Also of note are the irregular walls and the sporadic placement of the windows.
Once inside light and sound take centre stage - flooding the chapel and giving visitors a unique religious experience.
We have modelled three sides of this wonderful building.

UNITE D'HABITATION
8in high, 3.5in wide, 1.5in deep & 3lb approximately.
The Unite d'Habitation in Marseille was completed in 1952. It was the first large-scale project of legendary architect Le Corbusier.
It is a striking beton-brut concrete brutalist building. Its 18 floors were designed to house 1600 residents in 337 apartments with two shopping streets, a hotel and a roof terrace.
Le Corbusier's revolutionary "vertical garden-town" design formed the basis for five similar sites across Europe. Its significance to the world of architecture was recognised by UNESCO when it added it to its list of World Heritage Sites in 2016 and is now partially open to the public.
