ONLINE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

RETURNS

The following returns policy does not apply to bespoke models.

We are happy to organise a full refund for online purchases – if the model is faulty, broken or simply unwanted. However, if the model is simply unwanted it will be up to the recipient to organise and pay for the return postage, and the refund will be paid upon our receipt of the returned model.

LIMITATIONS AND LIABILITIES

Chisel & Mouse shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the performance of its products or website, even if Chisel & Mouse has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

LAW & JURISDICTION

Your use of this site, including but not limited to the purchase of Chisel & Mouse products, shall be governed in all respects by the laws of England and Wales and you agree that jurisdiction over and the venue of any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising from this shall be in the courts of England and Wales.

MODEL HANDLING

Models are easily broken and require gentle handling and proper maintenance. A model should be kept away from direct sunlight and in a controlled environment at room temperature. Chisel & Mouse does not provide a warranty for fabricated models and does not accept responsibility for the damage occurred as a result of poor maintenance and handling.

REFERENCE MATERIALS

All reference materials must be submitted by the Customer. The Customer is fully responsible for legality, content, and accuracy of submitted reference materials.

NON-DISCLOSURE

All reference materials, sketches, drawings, 3D data, images and descriptions submitted for quotation purposes and production will be considered confidential by default and will not be disclosed to a third party regardless of whether a prospective job will be awarded to Chisel & Mouse or not.

DELAYS

If Chisel & Mouse utilise the services of outside manufacturers and suppliers then it cannot be held responsible for change of time of order turnaround or other terms and conditions of outside and third party providers. Chisel & Mouse is not responsible for delays in project’s fabrication caused by Customer’s actions. Chisel & Mouse reserve the right to put on hold project fabrication due to delay with receiving of progress payment or provision of requested reference materials.

FORCE MAJEURE

Every effort will be made to carry out the contract but its due performance is subject to cancellation by Chisel & Mouse or to such variation as it may find necessary as a result of force majeure.

The Chisel & Mouse products shown on this site are the copyright of Chisel & Mouse under the laws of England and Wales. You may display and, subject to any expressly stated restrictions or limitations relating to specific material, download or print portions of the material from the different areas of the site solely for your own non-commercial use, or to place an order with Chisel & Mouse or to purchase Chisel & Mouse products.

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

In the event that a Chisel & Mouse product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Chisel & Mouse reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price. Chisel & Mouse reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order cancelled, Chisel & Mouse shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation of an order can be made by the Customer at any time. In the event of the Customer canceling an order Chisel & Mouse will not be required to refund any payments already made by the Customer and Chisel & Mouse will be entitled to be reimbursed by the Customer for any costs and expenses incurred beyond the value of any payments already received.
